Commercial projects generally require in depth understanding of materials and construction methods and the ability to maximise space – both of which are key areas of expertise for NU Concepts
Some of its work has involved redeveloping the interiors of hotels, ensuring there is no ‘dead space’ and allowing owners to reconfigure premises to accommodate more rooms, while ensuring they still give guests a great ‘stay’.
In 2014, NU Concepts’ owner Vishal Verma was recruited as a consultant by Hodder & Partners to work on the design for 700 apartments in an eight-block complex in Leeds and later by BDP in Manchester to assist on a project for The University of Manchester.
